Cusco, Peru

Our mission team desires to establish a growing, maturing body of believers in the heart of Cusco, Peru. We are committed to working in Cusco for a minimum of 5 years. It is our goal from the very beginning that this congregation will eventually become self-sufficient, with its own leaders, and financially self-supporting. Our vision is to plant a congregation that will grow to a point that it will be capable of planting other churches throughout Peru. It is our prayer that God will allow us to plant and water in Cusco, while He gives the increase (1 Cor. 3:7).

When are we Going?

We will depart for Cusco in October of 2009.

How Will We Prepare?

The Cusco Mission Team is currently being trained by Continent of Great Cities, from January to June 2009. The training includes Spanish language preparation, team dynamics, personal evangelism, urban church planting, Latin American culture, etc.

What's Happening?

Having moved to Dallas December 30th, we are now involved in intense training at Continent of Great Cities. We will be in Henderson for the FHU lectures February 1st-6th.

The Cook's work will be under the oversight of the Estes church of Christ.
