The Cusco Mission Team

Barton and Allison Kizer

Barton and Allison live in Birmingham, Alabama, where Barton is the associate minister for the Ashville Road congregation and Allison is a graphic designer. They both attended Freed Hardeman University, where Barton received a B.A. in Bible and a Master of Arts in New Testament. Allison finished her education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, completing a degree in Graphic Design. Barton and Allison have a special talent in working with young people, which has been their focus during their time with the Ashville Road congregation.

 

Gary, Jennifer, and Logan Reeves

Gary, Jennifer, and Logan live in Janesville, Wisconsin, where they are working to start a Hispanic work for the congregation there. They both attended Freed Hardeman University, where Gary received a B.A. in missions and a Master of Ministry and Jennifer received a bachelors degree in Merchandising and Interiors. Their international resume is impressive: Jennifer grew up on the mission field in Taiwan and Gary is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having been deployed to the Middle East and El Salvador. They have participated in campaign work in over 20 countries.

 

When are we Going?

We will depart for Cusco in October of 2009.

How Will We Prepare?

The Cusco Mission Team is currently being trained by Continent of Great Cities, from January to June 2009. The training includes Spanish language preparation, team dynamics, personal evangelism, urban church planting, Latin American culture, etc.

What's Happening?

Having moved to Dallas December 30th, we are now involved in intense training at Continent of Great Cities. We will be in Henderson for the FHU lectures February 1st-6th.

The Cook's work will be under the oversight of the Estes church of Christ.
